WHAT TO TRANSMIT TO THE FUTURE
THE FUTURE DOES NOT INHERIT VALUES AUTOMATICALLY.
Freedom can disappear.
Knowledge can be forgotten.
Skills can be lost.
History can be rewritten.
A generation can inherit institutions without understanding why they were built.
Nothing important survives by itself.
If we want something to remain, we have to teach it.
PASS ON WHAT MAKES PEOPLE FREE AND CAPABLE.
I want GNŌX to transmit the things that help the next generation think clearly and stand on their own feet.
Reason.
Question claims. Ask for evidence. Learn how to change your mind.
Secular freedom.
No person should need religious permission to think, speak or live freely.
Historical memory.
Teach both achievements and failures. A society that forgets its past becomes easier to deceive.
Practical skills.
Know how to repair, grow, cook, prepare, help and solve problems instead of depending on systems for everything.
Responsibility.
Freedom without responsibility becomes empty.
Community.
Teach people that independence does not mean isolation.
TRANSMISSION IS NOT INDOCTRINATION.
I don't want future GNŌXists to repeat our words because we told them to.
That would contradict the entire idea.
Teach principles.
Teach methods.
Teach history.
Then let them question us.
Some things we believe today will eventually prove incomplete or wrong.
Good.
The next generation should not become a copy of ours.
It should become better equipped than ours.
LEAVE THEM MORE THAN POSSESSIONS.
Most people think inheritance means money, property or objects.
Those things matter.
But there is another inheritance.
Knowing how to think.
Knowing where you came from.
Knowing how to work with your hands.
Knowing how to recognise manipulation.
Knowing how to help others.
Knowing that freedom was built and can be lost.
That is the inheritance GNŌX should try to leave behind.
Transmit what deserves a future.
